Volunteer experience
Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, February 2008 to May 2010
I served as alternate delegate to State Central Committee, director on the Executive Committee, and precinct chair, and I volunteered in data entry and phone banks, using VAN and Microsoft Excel, and designed and maintained the website (www.sd48dfl.org) and social networking pages until August 2009. From February to May 2010, I was a precinct chair in Senate District 61.
American Civil Liberties Union, June 2008 to September 2008
I attended the 2008 ACLU National Conference in Washington, D.C., and during the Republican National Convention, I monitored protests in Saint Paul and educated protesters about their rights and responsibilities by handling out information cards and pamphlets.
Voter registration and education, January 2008
I gave presentations on Minnesota’s caucuses, and I hosted a candidate forum at my high school, effectively marketing an event that garnered television and print media coverage. I ran a voter registration drive, supervising and training four student volunteers, aimed at eligible high school students, consequently registering about 120 eligible high school students.

I am knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (6 years), HTML (6 years), CSS (6 years), GIMP (3 years), Apple iWork (2 years), DNS and web configuration (2 years), and WordPress CMS (2 years). I type 61 words per minute. I read, write, and speak French intermediately.
